Thanks for the reply.but, I have BaseCamp 3.0.1, Windows PC, I've updated the firmware on my Oregon 450, and I dowloaded to my SD card the TOPO U.S. 24K - Great Lakes. The only maps I see in BaseCamp are City Navigator North America NT 2008, City Navigator North America NT 2009, Global Map, and 2 maps I've dowloaded from elsewhere, the OSM World Routable and Michigan Topo.

My Garmin 450 is listed on the left with a folder called All Data under it. If I click on that folder, I see a bunch of tracks.but that's it.

This is frustrating. I contacted customer support via email 2 days ago, and I never even got a 'whe're looking into it' reply back.nothing. Not so good an experience so far. Dave I copied the map from the SD card to my desktop. The maps don't show up at all, even if I go to File/Importon BaseCamp, the maps don't show. The map I downloaded from Garmin has 3 files. They are: Topo24K_GreatLakes.gma Topo24K_GreatLakes.img Topo24K_GreatLakes.unl And according to BaseCamp, none of those are supported.

Only.gdb,.gpx,.kml,.kmz,.loc,.mps are supported.what gives!?? Ok hang on here! Customer support just contacted me and here's what they said: 'If you purchases the maps as a download you will only be able to view the maps on your device only. The only way you can view Topo 24K is by installing the map to your computer using a DVD. Maps from the internet will only install directly to the unit only and not your computer.' No where on their site does it say that! I downloaded that map with the intent of using both on my garmin and on my computer!!!!
