Can anyone help me out a little bit. We have a 85 treefarmer c5d with a 353 detroit, 4 speed manual transmission. What im trying to find out is what make/model transfer case this machine has, I cant seem to find any tags on the transfer case.

Its making a heck of a knocking noise only when pulling up hill when the machine levels off or is going down hill the noise seems to go away (its a loud banging/wratcheting kinda noise). Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance guys, any input would be greatly apreciated!
