My wife paid the extra $$$ to get a reputable brand dishwasher I would say 3 - 4 years ago from Masters. Worked fine for the first 2 years then rack supports started to break as did the front plate. I am the one who opens and closes the dishwasher and I have been very gentle realising the front plate was only plastic.

Not long after the front plate broke the Half Load button fell out and last night the dishwasher won’t turn on at all. Very disappointing after spending the extra to keep my wife’s mind at ease.

Obviously all products by all brands are not made to last. Our Bosch SGS65M08AU/15 dishwasher worked fine until one day recently it just decided to die on us. We have had the front fascia panel Crack on us twice (still broken) but this is out of the blue. We emptied it thinking it had finished but then noticed water still in the bottom.

Such a shame. Dishwasher washed well but didnt always dry well and like most of these reviews has now just died. Just out of the extended warranty period too.

It was the first dishwasher I had purchased and thought a Bosch would last a long time with light use for just me. Very disappointed in what is obviously a fault with this model seeing the amount of reviews with the same issue. I certainly can't afford the $500 most were quoted to fix the machine right before Christmas.
